Xia Xong Carters Reward

Greetings friends and family. Many of you know me because you are actually my family and some of you know me from our work together to make the streets of Aurora and Denver safer from all threats. I have enjoyed supporting your causes and appreciated your support for all of my ideas and actions.

This cause is one vey closer to my heart. I met a young lady named Xia Xong Carter at a rally for her father after he was murdered by the Aurora Police Department. It was a colder spring which meant I needed cocoa. That automatically meant Xia (Rabbit) needed some too. The following day we meet again at the capitol and she was right on my hip the whole time. That was great for me because I felt like it was my job to protect her from anything I could. I wanted to shield her from the high emotions.

I saw the whole family at Black Arts and Juneteenth and I started talking to her wonderful mom Laniesha who told me she had seen Rabbit take to adults like that before. Next thing I knew rabbit was asking me to be her God Mom. That means a lot in my family. So I jumped to the tasks. Showing up to cheerleading. Going to the office when situations happened. Spending time. Doing things and being another adult who cares.

At her old school, there were some anger issues and challenges. At the beginning of the school year this year there was a scare that the anger and pain from dealing with the loss of her dad was going to surface. I made her a promise in august that if she made it through the rest of the school year with outstanding grades she could go on vacation with Chris and me. I need your help finishing the attractions.

We changed our destination to Orlando.

·        I bought the tickets yesterday Totaling          $819.00

·        Chris booked the car                  Totaling          $93.00

Attractions:  

1.      Discover Cove: (snorkel and swim with the dolphins) includes admission to SeaWorld and Aquatica Parks. With this package, you receive admission to all three parks for an unlimited amount of days for $968 This covers unlimited access for 14 days before and after your discovery cove park.

Rabbit has a love for slimy animals such as snakes lol. Going here and seeing the trainers, the biologists, and the marine biologists, and the veterinarians work may inspire her to follow her dreams.

2.      Kennedy Space Center: is a must see because Rabbit loves the movie hidden figures. Cost $373 Her Mom, myself, Chris and the whole community wants her to know that she can work in Aeronautics, become a astronaut, build space craft. We need her to see that these places exist outside of movies.  

3.      Beach Day: This should be a mellow day at the beach. I have budgeted for a few activities like jet skiing OR surf lessons the both are the same price totaling $335 this will be the first activity cut if funds are not reached.

 We as a community can show her that her good behavior is rewarded and that these awards for 4s and 3s matter and she needs to follow through on her studies.

Money in any number adds up quickly and we have 30 days to do it. The reservations have to be made 15 days before the trip.  We will all be so greatful that you are helping us make a way for this young overcomer, warrior princess to start viewing this world as it could be instead of how it is.
