Audrey’s Emergency Surgery

As many of you know, Audrey (Lintott) McKelvey has undergone
numerous brain and spinal surgeries throughout the course of her 26 year life. Last week, we received the unfortunate news that Audrey is in need of yet another surgery, to her brain stem/ spine, in order to stop the progression of her Chiari Malformation/Syringomyelia. Without this surgery, Audrey is facing the possibility of total paralysis or worse, in just a matter of months. Surgery has been scheduled for November and Audrey is looking at a lengthy recovery, meaning she will be out of work for at least 2 months. The purpose of this campaign is to cover the difference between insurance coverage and the actual cost of surgery, and to assist in meeting Audrey & Fred’s household expenses (while Audrey is out of work).
