As you may have heard in the news, floods devastated parts of Missouri in the recent weeks. As many of you also know, we recently acquired Color Master which has branch locations throughout MO including the St. Louis market.
During the acquisition last week, we found that the St. Louis, MO floods impacted one of our own from our new team at Color Master. Mike Turnbaugh, a DSR in our newly acquired location in St. Louis, MO, suffered significant damage to his home, property, and personal belongings due to flooding and is not receiving the support he needs to make it through this ordeal.
Two of the Company’s core values are “Be a family ” & “Be part of the solution ”. With these values in mind, what better way to live our core values, and to show our new members of the FinishMaster Family what we’re all about, than to help Mike and his family out in their time of need! This is a unique opportunity for all of us to show our support! A “GoFundMe” me page has been set up to assist Mike and his family during this difficult time. In addition to monetary donations, we would encourage those of you in the Home Office to sign cards of encouragement and support . These cards will be in the break room starting on Thursday morning.
Please make your donations by Monday, January 25th so that we can work to help this family get back on their feet and back to a “new normal” as soon as possible. Funds will be used to replace household items lost in the flood.
