Let's Help Vicki

My name is Marylee, and I am fundraising for my dear friend Vicki Wagner. She worked as a nurse in clinics and hospitals for her career and retired in 2019.  She has a genetic disease called polycystic kidney and liver disease, and is a long-term kidney dialysis patient.  Her father and brother both died from the disease.  She does not qualify for a kidney transplant.  She lives on a fixed retirement income with very high medical costs.  

As a result she has gotten behind on home repairs.  Her furnace was red-flagged at the end of winter 2022, and her air conditioner just died 2 weeks ago. Replacement of the furnace and air conditioner was quoted at $13,700.00.  The door on her oven broke and can not be fixed, and her toilet needs to be replaced.  

 

Vicki  and I have been friends for 50 years.  She has a kind heart and a generous spirit, helping everyone who crosses her path.  As a nurse, she lovingly cared for patients.  I have never once heard Vicki complain about her medical issues, or that it was somehow unfair she inherited polycystic kidney and liver disease.  She has kidney dialysis twice a week, yet always remains upbeat.  She has never asked for anything from anybody, and only reluctantly agreed for me to start a Go Fund Me page for her.  We live in Minnesota where the summers can be hot and the fall and winter months extremely cold.   Please help Vicki so she can get a new furnace and air conditioner, a new stove and a new toilet.  Let’s help Vicki!
