James Gavin Mitchell's leukemia therapy

Hi! I’m James Mitchell’s dad. Recently, James was diagnosed with Promyelocytic Leukemia. This will require several weeks of therapy treatments in Gainesville, which we started this week. This will be followed by several months of out-patient therapy treatments in Gainesville. The great news is that his prognosis is excellent! This goes a long way toward getting us through this difficult time. My new employer is being very understanding and supportive about my need to travel to Gainesville on a regular basis. However, I will not be paid for the times I am absent, and we are accruing medical debt, of course. Any kind of donation would be vey much appreciated and would go a long way toward helping with the financial stress. I will post progress here as we go along. So far, he is tolerating his treatments very well.
