Ashanti Cox was one of a kind. She impacted so many different types of people within her time with us. She knew everyone. She was someone who would give up her last penny to help another. There was never a dull moment in her presence. She would always be dancing or doing just something that would have the whole room in tears. Ashanti was a big piece of our hearts, things will never be the same. She was an amazing mother,daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. And no matter what we could always count on Ashanti. 

 

Saturday, July 23,2022 she was driving home from out of town when a deer jumped out in front of her SUV. She tried to avoided and crashed. Anyone who knows her, knows that if she didn’t know anything she knew how to drive. You could always catch Ashanti on the freeway. If you called her, she was coming. 

This tragedy was very unexpected for her family. She was 29 years young and it was too soon for her to go. This is a nightmare we’d all like to wake up from. She leaves behind a beautiful 4 year old baby girl. Whom will be cared for by our loving family and community of friends. We all will be facing this heartbreaking journey with the support of each other. This loss has not been easy for everyone Ashanti impacted.
