It is with a heavy heart that I disclose the nature of our circumstances. Since the age of 3, my mother has struggled with a disease known as sickle cell anemia. In and out of the hospital, she has suffered most of her life. On Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, my mother developed a massive brain bleed. Since then, she has been unresponsive. The doctors advised my family that her condition is irreversible, unable to be treated, and she would not be able to live a sustainable life. This took my family completely by surprise. Earlier that day, we were expecting her to be discharged from the hospital. However, we were struck with bad news of her condition.

Unfortunately, due to the suddenness of this tragedy we are not able to provide her with the homegoing service she deserves. My mother was such a giving and caring woman. It breaks our heart that we aren't able to support her like she has supported us and so many others. My family asks for your financial support.
