It is with a heavy heart that I am creating this Go Fund Me account to assist the Ward family with the medical and funeral expenses for Marissa Ward. At 2:20 am on January 2, 2022, Marissa gained her angel wings unexpectedly at the age of 17.

Marissa was one of the most beautiful, vibrant, and free spirited young ladies I've had the honor of having in my life. There are countless family and friends that loved and adored her that now miss her.

Marissa was the daughter of Michael Ward and Lisa Polk, twin sister to Mariah, sister to Matthew, Michaela, Mikenna and Ana. Marissa was an Aunt, Niece, girlfriend to Luc and friend to so many who loved and cherished her. Marissa always welcomed you with open arms and a smile that was the brightest I have ever seen.

Marissa and Luc started dating and became the cutest couple that always had fun activities and adventures together. Marissa was a blessing to all that knew her and loved her. But also able to experience such a true love that is special and rare.

Please pray for Marissa's family and friends as they go through this most difficult and challenging time.
