Hello everyone. Thank you for visiting this page. I am Parker's great aunt, Rhonda Herman. Our family is so grateful for all the love and support for Parker. Following is a brief summary of his current situation.

Parker McKinney is a 16-year-old sophomore at Lakeshore High School, in Stevensville, Michigan. On Sunday, January 18, 2026, his life changed. He and his friends decided to have some fun in the snow and “truck ski.” It seemed harmless, being behind the truck. When the truck stopped, Parker went around to the side of the truck. The truck started moving. Parker slipped and ended up under the truck.

He was rushed to the local hospital, then transported to DeVos Pediatric Intensive Care in Grand Rapids. Parker has collapsed lungs, brain bleeds and swelling, multiple face fractures, and a broken collarbone. He is sedated and stable. The staff has been amazing, and it is such a comfort knowing he is getting excellent care.

We ask for your prayers for him and his single mother, Christine. We thank you for your texts of support as she reads them bedside to Parker. She and a few family members are staying at a hotel nearby.

His recovery will take months of intense care, so Christine will not be able to work. We are asking for financial support so she can continue to pay the bills while focusing on Parker’s immediate needs.

The immense show of love and support already has been a light of hope during this dark time. We thank you all for that. God bless you!
