Hey I’m Sarah and this is my dog Peach.

Peach tore the cruciate ligament in her back left leg back in January and after getting her fitted for some custom braces, she’s been slowly working on getting some strength back so that she can walk on all four legs again.

unfortunately on Friday night, Peach somehow tore her the ligament in her other back leg. She was only left alone for about an hour but we think she may have slipped and despite have her brace on, it just didn’t stabilize both legs enough.

We need help. At this point it looks like surgery is going to be our only real option in getting her back to walking again. I feel really embarrassed asking for help I can’t stand to see her in pain and not even able to stand on her own. All of the money raised will go towards her surgery, medications, rehab and vet visits.

Genuinely anything helps and even just sharing this means so much to us.

This surgery is really expensive and we were quoted $6000 initially for the surgery alone without any additional tests or follow ups when it was only the one leg that was injured. For both the average amount can be $10000+ depending on which surgery they are able to perform.

We will be getting into our vets office asap to get her referred to a surgeon and I will update the goal if it needs to be adjusted, but I wanted to start this asap to hopefully get her the help she needs as soon as we can. we were hoping to avoid surgery if possible because as a dog with addisons disease, additional stress is pretty dangerous for her, so it’s just difficult over all that this our best option now.
