Longtime resident and Forest Park Fire & Police Commissioner Brad Zandstra was diagnosed with Sarcoma in 2014 and had a recurrence this year. He is
fighting stage four Osteosarcoma and is not able to work during this time and is not yet approved to receive SSI Disability. His family's income has been reduced by half.
The Friends of Brad Zandstra have joined together to raise money and help ease Brad's financial stress so that he can focus on regaining his health.
A "Beers for Brad" event is planned for Thursday, August 6th from 6-9pm at Healy's Westside, 7321 W. Madison in Forest Park, IL . Tickets are $40 and include cocktails and appetizers.
