Help a Family Overcome Cancer's Challenges
Donation protected
My sister started her journey with cancer in 2020. She found a large lump in her right breast and promptly got a mammogram and biopsy. While she had just had a mammogram not even a year before, she was diagnosed with Stage 3C triple-negative invasive ductal carcinoma, which is a very aggressive cancer. Over the next few years, she underwent chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery to remove her breasts. While she was cancer-free for almost a year, the cancer came back metastatic. It spread to her lungs, several other lymph nodes, and abdomen. She is now Stage 4 and has been on several different types of chemo to try to beat this beast. She currently has a trip planned to MD Anderson in Texas to get another opinion and see if they have other options for her to try. She has 3 children, with two of them still young and living in the home. She does not want to leave her babies. She wants to keep fighting.
As you can imagine, with this journey comes a lot of medical bills and expenses. Her and her husband have steadily paid on medical bills, but cancer treatment is expensive and there is a LOT of treatment. I would like to graciously ask for any donation you can give. They need to focus on healing and family and take away the worry of the mounting medical bills. Please pass this along to anyone and everyone you know. We could use your help. Anything that you can afford will be so graciously appreciated. We are trying to raise at least $6000 dollars but the more we can raise the easier it will be for the family. Thank you in advance for considering helping us with this difficult fight.
