Let's get her wheels back!

A dear friend and client of mine recently suffered a tragedy that no one should ever be forced to experience. She has fallen victim to car theft, but not just any car theft, her dream car. The vehicle that helped her regain the will to live, the vehicle that gave her hope for a better tomorrow after numerous medical hurdles and hospital stays. Born with Spina Bifida, she has been wheelchair-bound her entire life. Her wheelchair was inside the vehicle at the time of the incident. A wheelchair that her insurance company is refusing to acknowledge as a part of the claim, while also giving her pennies on the dollar for the reimbursement of the vehicle's value itself. I don't need to tell you how disheartening this ordeal has been for her. For her, this wasn't just a car, it was her sense of normalcy and belonging. It was ripped away from her in minutes by some low-life criminals that viewed it as an easy target. This vehicle was equipped with custom hand controls for the operation of the pedals, with a customized LSU wheelchair in the passenger seat. Due to this situation, I'm asking for donations to assist her with the aforementioned hardships. Anything helps! Let's show her what community strength can do.
