"How can you help when a fire destroys so much?"
It's the question that is being asked time and time again by neighbors, friends, and people who care about Meg Drude and her family.
So many of you know about the fire this week at 84 Ellisville Road that unfortunately took the life of a loved one and destroyed the family home that held so many loving memories for the Drude family.
We have set up this GoFundMe fundraiser
because many of you are asking how to best help the Drude family during this difficult time.
This tragedy is more than the destruction of a building. Not only is the Drude family mourning the loss of a loved one and their home of over 20 years, but they also lost all their worldly possessions and essentials for everyday living. In addition, this tragedy is going to put a severe financial burden on Meg and her family. What Meg Drude and her family need right now, more than anything else, is financial support to help them through this crisis. They need our help to replace the simplest of things such as clothes, linens, dishes, furniture, and personal items.
Please consider donating any amount you are able and willing to give through this fundraising site. If you feel more comfortable writing a check or money order, please make them payable to Margaret "Meg" Drude and send or deliver them to her c/o 38 Hedges Pond Road Plymouth, MA 02360.
We cannot replace the life lost in the fire, but an outpouring of love through donations, coupled with God's help, will give them hope and the strength to recover and deal with their tragic loss.
We thank each one of you for whatever you are able to do to make a difference to this family.
