Gizmo's Vet Bills

Several days ago my family's dog, Gizmo, got into some cooking grease. This made him sick, understandably, so our family just set out some water and food and waited for his upset stomach to pass, as is usual. After several days of vomiting and lethargy we realized that he wasn't getting better, so we brought him into the vet. It was discovered that he has a mass in his lower abdomen that had swollen and pinched off his bladder. Because of this he was unable to urinate, and his bladder had swollen to several times it's original size. His potassium was so low that he nearly went into cardiac arrest, and he was severely dehydrated. Right now the vet is trying to just get him stable before they decide what to do about the tumor, and already our family owes $2000. We don't have enough to possibly afford all of these fees without taking out a loan or maxing out our cards; we just want him healthy, or at least out of pain.
