Please help the man who always helped others.

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out today on behalf of an incredible father, husband, and friend who is currently facing one of the most challenging times of his life. My dad is a hardworking man who has always put his family and community first. Whether it’s working long hours to support his loved ones or lending a hand to neighbors and friends, he’s the kind of person who never hesitates to help others.

Now, he needs our help.

Dad has recently been diagnosed with a serious medical condition that has left him unable to work and facing a long road to recovery. Between treatments, specialist visits, and the day-to-day challenges of managing his health, the financial burden on him and our family is growing rapidly. Every retirement dollar or investment is now being taken to help cover the cost of living. I don’t believe that anyone should work their whole lives to save for their retirement to have to spend it under unforeseen circumstances such as this.

To make things even more difficult, Dad is currently receiving care in Grande Prairie/Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, while Ryan and I with our 4 kids live in the United States. We have been doing everything we can to be by his side for the last year—to advocate for his care, support him emotionally, and help navigate the complex medical system that is Alberta Healthcare right now.

We’re asking for your support to help ease this burden. Your donation will go toward:

• Medical expenses not covered by insurance such as medical supplies and prescription medication. As well as traveling between GP and Edmonton for more advanced medical needs.

• Living costs while Dad is unable to work

• Travel expenses for family to be with him and advocate for his care

• Any unforeseen needs that arise during this difficult time
