I’m here to share the story of my friend Venkat. He was a dedicated student, a hard worker, a loving son, a caring brother, and an incredible friend. Venkat hailed from the small town of Madanapalle in Andhra Pradesh, India, and spent his life working tirelessly toward a better future. In pursuit of his dreams, he came to the United States to earn his Master’s in Computer Science from California State University, Fullerton—an incredible achievement he reached in May 2024.

Even in one of the toughest job markets, Venkat's determination paid off: he successfully secured a job and was just beginning what promised to be a bright and fulfilling career.

Venkat loved to cook, travel, and explore new experiences. He was a great listener and always made time for those around him—whether to share a meal or lend a supportive ear. Everything was finally starting to fall into place—until tragedy struck.

On June 20, 2025, Venkat lost his life in a drowning accident at Turner Falls, Oklahoma. He was just 28 years old when he was taken from us far too soon.
