We want to begin by expressing our gratitude to everyone during these seven months that our father has been in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and now in a memory care home. Your prayers and thoughts have been felt and have helped sustain the family. We feel so blessed to be part of such a great, strong and loving community.
Our father is currently in Houston, Texas. We anticipate he will continue to get stronger and be ready for what the ultimate goal is, home. A few weeks ago he had a small setback with a bacterial infection due to the ulcer that has formed due to being bed ridden so long.
He has been vent free for over 3 months and has been breathing well. He needs more aggressive therapy so he can get stronger. He needs to learn how to sit, stand, walk, and eat on his own. He has begun to speak and we are able to understand him more as the days go by. Our father is a livingtestimony of the miracles God has done.

*No longer has the treach
*He knows who we are
*He laughs, cries and he can speak
*He can move his hands and arms
*He can spoon feed himself and brush his teeth
There were numerous times, when they felt my dad would not make it. There were numerous family meetings held that were never positive. Ourfather is a man who serves God with his heart and is a man of faith! We stood on Gods word and that faith! God is not done with him yet!
So we come to you asking for your help our father is running out of his reserved days & Medicare will not cover his daily costs. We are needing to prepare his home so it can be assessable to his medical/physical needs.
We know that GOD has every step planned out and knew of this day and season and HE will continue to provide. God has and will have victory over every day of this season and we will be certain to give Him PRAISE, HONOR and GLORY for His faithfulness. God is good❣

Queremos comenzar expresando nuestra gratitud a todos durante estos siete meses que nuestro padre ha estado en el hospital y centro de rehabilitación. Sus oraciones y pensamientos se han sentido y han ayudado a sostener a la familia. Nos sentimos muy bendecidos de ser parte de una comunidad tan grande, fuerte y amorosa.
Nuestro padre se encuentra actualmente en Houston, Texas. Anticipamos que seguirá fortaleciéndose y estará listo para lo que el objetivo final es el hogar. Hace unas semanas tuvo un pequeño contratiempo con una infección bacteriana debido a la úlcera que se le formó debido a que estuvo postrado tanto tiempo en cama.
Ha estado libre de ventilación durante más de 3 meses y ha estado respirando bien. Necesita una terapia más agresiva para poder fortalecerse. Necesita aprender a sentarse, pararse, caminar y comer solo. Ha comenzado a hablar y lo vamos entendiendo más a medida que pasan los días. Nuestro padre es un testimonio vivo de los milagros que Dios ha hecho.

* Puede mover sus manos y brazos
* Puede alimentarse con cuchara y cepillarse los dientes.
Hubo numerosas ocasiones en las que sintieron que mi papá no lo lograría. Se realizaron numerosas reuniones familiares que nunca fueron positivas. ¡Nuestro padre es un hombre que sirve a Dios con su corazón y es un hombre de fe! ¡Nos apoyamos en la palabra de Dios y en esa fe! ¡Dios aún no ha terminado con él!
Así que acudimos a usted para pedirle su ayuda, nuestro padre se está quedando sin sus días reservados y Medicare no cubrirá sus costos diarios. Necesitamos preparar su hogar para que se pueda evaluar a sus necesidades médicas / físicas.
Sabemos que DIOS ha planeado cada paso y sabía de este día y temporada y continuará proporcionando. Dios tiene y tendrá la victoria sobre todos los días de esta temporada y estaremos seguros de darle ALABANZA , HONOR y GLORIA por Su fidelidad. Dios es bueno.
