Aortic Dissection is also known as THE DETECTABLE KILLER - it occurs when the walls of the aorta weaken and split, causing blood to leak out, this is often misdiagnosed and therefore fatal. We are trying to raise money to fund The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust who do amazing work in educating people in the health service. We also aim to bring awareness to this silent killer. I had an Aortic Dissection in 2012 which was misdiagnosed.

MORE PEOPLE WILL DIE IN 2021 FROM AN AORTIC DISSECTION THAN IN ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS

John is my dad, he is celebrating his 80th birthday this year and will attempt to walk 80 miles in 7 days along with two of his daughters and his grandson and and some very good friends and wonderful family.
