Hello friends and family members,
We have recently been hit by Hurricane Irma in South Florida. We were not able to truly evacuate, but went to a friends house which was built of metal and cement to weather the storm.
We were w/o water for 2 days, and w/o electricity for nearly 4 days. We've lost time at work, all food we had in our apartment, and our building suffered damage from the storm.
I am asking for ANY assistance in making up what was lost in wages to the storm, which our eomployers are not reimbursing for lost time, as well as help with fixing our ceiling, which collapsed in the kitchen.
I will update with photos over time.
Any and all donations will be used to catch up on bills which have now fallen behind, as well as repairs to our roof/ceiling. Anything left over, will help us get some food back into our home!
