On July 3, 2025, Regina had an accidental fall while trying to get out of bed. She was transported by ambulance to CaroMont Regional Hospital in Gastonia, emergency room, where she was evaluated. After scans and x-rays, she was diagnosed with a closed fracture of the right proximal humerus and multiple contusions. With these injuries and the lingering effects from a previous stroke that she had in 2023, it has rendered her totally incapacitated.

Anyone who knows Regina knows that she paid it forward whenever she saw the opportunity and helped her many friends any way she could.
