Mike Padgett has PKD, Polycystic Kidney Disease.  
Mike had hoped to have a transplant before starting dialysis.  I (his wife) was the first to test and was ruled out because of small brain anyersium, small brain tumor.  No problem for me.  But I can not donate

His sister was next ruled out for breast cancer (treated)
Then Mikes Boss was ruled out because of blood pressure, and my sister because of the size of blood source to kidney.    

Because this is a herditary disease his children are unable to donate.  

February 6, 2014 Mike started dialysis
May 22 2014 Mike had both kidneys removed because of the size.
June 2014 Mike had a 5 way heart bypass, then a lung procedure and gall bladder removed.   Rough summer!

We were happy to hear that Mike was able to start testing again and has been put back on transplant list!!!
Also we have a donor!!! 

A young women a friend of Mikes daughter has followed Mikes story, has prayed about this and with the blessing of her husband and children is going to donate to Mike!
Heather has passed allof her test and was even told that she had 105% kidney funtion.  

Surgery is on the schedule.  July 21, 2015

 We are starting this page to help with medical expenses, lost wages.  And other things that may come up.
