Hi, my name is Jess, and along with my cousin Ashley, we are putting this fundraiser together for her nephew, Calvin. My cousin Nate (Ashley's brother) and his wife Sarah are currently in a children's hospital with their only child, Calvin.

Calvin just turned 4, and had an accident at their local park while spinning on a merry-go-round in which he sustained a spinal cord injury. He will be staying in the hospital for an unknown amount of time while he undergoes physical therapy and inpatient treatment. Calvin has a long road ahead of him, with uncertainties on his outcome. This will be life changing for all of them.

Nate and Sarah are wonderful people, and not ones to ask for anything. Calvin is their world, and this is an awful experience for them, that no parent ever wants to endure.

Hospital stays are expensive, and we'd like to help them by easing some financial burden in their trying time.

All of the money will go straight to Nate and Sarah as they're taking off work to be there for their sweet Calvin. It will help them with gas, food, etc, whatever they may need during their stay.
