Running 50k in May for the team that minded Kay

I'm Catherine and on April 17th, our lovely Mom took her last trip around the sun. The care she (and us) received in the Webb Ward in Tallaght University Hospital was nothing short of exceptional - not only medical care (we expect that), but the warmth and kindness of the team, attending with a gentle (sometimes invisible) presence to her every need in those last days when medicine had no answers will stay with me and my family forever.

So, I'm not a great runner, more a Jalker, so I'm launching my "50k in May for Minding Kay" to provide some resources to her team in the Webb Ward in Tallaght Hospital to do even more to help families like us at times like these.

Any amount welcome, no lower limit. I know there are lots of fundraisers going around, and they are all for really worthy, needy causes. Hopefully this might resonate with some of you - no pressure!
