With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mom Darlene Alice Trujillo. She was a loving mother of 5 daughters and grandmother to 22 grandkids. She was such a kind and loving person that would go the extra mile to help her family. In October of 2023 she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She used turkey tail mushroom capsules as a natural remedy and tried chemotherapy for a period of time but it was too much for her. The turkey tails prolonged her life by 2 years. They got sick a few times this year and after her 3rd hospital stay, she was put on hospice. A month later God decided that she suffered enough and she passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning on December 15th 2025. Her strength touched many. We're asking for support from our friends, family and our community to help cover the costs of her funeral expenses such as $7,000 to cover the cost of the funeral home and casket. $4,000 to cover the cost of a plot of a cemetery that she passed by everyday on her way home that she said looks peaceful.
