The Anderson family needs your help

My name is Taylor Anderson and my family needs your help. On June 12, 2023 our friend, my husband, Tyge Anderson had a heart attack. Thankfully, due to quick action of co-workers he was able to get to the hospital for intervention in a very short amount of time. After evaluating his current state and results from the cath lab it was determined that bypass surgery would be necessary. He went in for surgery Tuesday at 2:30 and received multiple bypass, an aortic valve replacement and by the grace of God an aortic aneurysm was discovered and repaired. For those who know, you know...... but for those who don't, this discovery was unexpected and had it not been found and repaired could have had devestating consequences. Given the scope of his procedures he has been in the ICU unit since, under sedation and intubation, to try and reduce his pain and keep him stable until an appropriate time to start the next stage of interventions. He will remain in ICU for roughly a week, under observation, until he is moved to a less intensive recovery unit.

It is going to be a long road for us. I'm not sure what the road ahead really even looks like but I do know I will need to be out of work for a while in support of his recovery and obviously he will be out for longer. With substantial medical bills stacking up quickly and being out of work we are going to struggle keeping all the balls in the air, so to speak. For those who know me, you'll know how hard it is for me to ask for help. But I'm asking for your help. I am trying to keep things going financially for our family and also be the support my husband and family need. We all try to be as prepared as we can for emergency situations...... but this emergency just flattened us. For those who know Tyge, you know how big his heart is and how much he cares for others. It's almost cruel irony that it's his heart that has made him so sick.
