Still trying to recover from hurricane Harvey

Hello...
Our home was flooded during Hurricane Harvey and we also had catastrophic roof failure. We had to take our entire house down to studs. We hired 2 crooked contractors, who at the time came highly recommended, and they stole thousands of dollars from us on 2 different occasions and walked our job. We had to rent a furnished townhome for the last year because we lost all of our furniture. We were paying our mortgage and our rental fee, which was extremely expensive. We are now back in our home with not much completed nor any furniture at that. We are trying to move upstairs as many people have done. We have 2 daughters that are currently staying with their Mimi because we dont have any functioning rooms, bathrooms, etc.
We have lost over $50,000 from contractors we thought we could trust. As we later found we could not. We are very happy to be in our home again, but we need a lot of help with everything. We are sleeping on a mattress in our living room and have 1 working faucet from fema. No cabinets in the house at all, no shelving, no appliances.
At this point anything helps!
We've always been the people who have helped others, and now we find ourselves on the other side.
We truly appreciate any help at all. Thank you so very much!!
