Lucky to be alive!

Aloha and howdy y’all. I never imagined myself asking anyone for help. I’ve been to what I thought was the bottom, living in the bushes, and came back strong on my own. I have been in the construction industry for almost 30 years. I am unfortunately forced to take a leave for an uncertain amount of time. I almost severed my left hand. I cut through a couple of tendons, my ulnar artery, and shredded my ulnar nerve. I am thankful to be alive! I already have undergone an initial emergency surgery, and have a couple more to go. I need to relocate to Texas because I will have countless doctor and specialist appointments, as well as years of physical therapy. The road to recovery will be long and painful. My insurance doesn’t cover me in Texas, which is also going to make this expensive. I have no idea if or when I will be able to go back to work, let alone use my hand for normal daily living. Updates on my progress will be made regularly. Thank you to my wonderful family and amazing friends!
