We are excited to announce that Dana's freedom is right around the corner! On December 5, 2015 Dana will finally be able to live a normal life!! As many of you know, Dana has spent 17 years in prison for a crime that would warrant rehab, at most, if committed today. **Dana's freedom is not because Gov. Jindal has signed his pardon recommendation from 2009. It is due solely to Dana's endless dedication to teaching & mentoring in Louisiana's Re-Entry program!!(We are SO proud of him!)**
On December 5 Dana will have only the shirt on his back, the laceless shoes on his feet, & an overstuffed shoebox of letters & photos from family!
Our hope is to surprise him with your donations & take him shopping for everyday essentials! Socks, shirts, ties, a proper haircut, shoes, etc. - to ensure a positive & stress free start to his new life!
