My name is Tonya Landry and I am raising the funds to become a Certified Addictions Counselor.
In my life, I have experienced homelessness, addiction, prostitution and hopelessness. Those were very dark times. And I'm grateful to not be in that place anymore. My emergence from the darkness of addiction required a community of people who loved and supported me through all of my hard times, when I succeeded and when I failed.
The reason that I am trying to acquire this certification is because it takes both love, understanding and skill to accompany people on the journey of recovery. I have a lot of love to love to give, a first-hand understanding of what people are going through, and I am looking to aquire the skills to help them succeed.
Would you be willing to partner with me in the aquisition of my Certified Addiction Counseling License? This will not only change my life, but also I can help change other peoples' lives.
