Boston Workers Circle Immigrant Justice Committee continues to await approval of our application to sponsor an immigrant under the U.S.'s Humanitarian Parole program. We text weekly with the young woman who we have committed to sponsor for two years. She is eager to be approved for U.S. entry by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Service and to begin the process of making a major life transition to the U.S. She has begun taking English classes and stays busy helping her extended family.
