The Gift Of Hearing

We often take the ability to hear for granted and don't realize how much it affects our everyday lives.   Unfortunately, for some hearing is a luxury.  As a special gift for a family member of mine, Kaleeq, I would like to raise money to be able to buy him new hearing aids.  Kaleeq is such a hard worker.  He works at a  local association helping disabled individuals in their day to day life.  He strives to make a difference in the lives of others even while overcoming his own challenges.   He has been trying to save to purchase new hearing aids but without health insurance, all costs would need to be paid out of pocket at full price.  Each hearing aid costs at least $2000.00.  He is currently using only ONE hearing aid and it is the same one that he has had since the age of 2 -- more than 20 years ago!  And now that hearing aid is beginning to fail.  He has to change the battery nearly every day at about $20.00 a pop.  This gift would not only be life-changing for him, but it would help bring back the confidence that he once had.  My plan is to give him the money for two new hearing aides as well as pay for whatever doctor appointment may be necessary in order to obtain them.  I cannot think of anyone more deserving or selfless.  Any help you can you offer is super appreciated!!
