Hi everyone,
We’re Courtney and Kevin, and we’re reaching out with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits. Over the past few years, we’ve been on a long and emotional IVF journey, with all the ups and downs that come with it.
We’ve been through three rounds of IVF so far. One of them brought us our beautiful baby girl, Dahla. Tragically, my waters broke early, and she was born at just 6 months. She was perfect in every way and had the cutest button nose but her tiny body couldn’t stay with us for long. She passed away after only a few precious hours in our arms. We will carry her with us always.
Our first and third rounds sadly ended in heartbreak, with negative results.
On top of the emotional toll, we’ve also had to face the unimaginable — planning a funeral and choosing a headstone for our baby girl. That’s something no parent should ever have to do, and it has added further financial pressure on top of our grief.
Now, we’ve reached a point where private IVF is our only option, and it comes with a huge financial burden. As much as we’ve resisted asking for help, we’ve realised that sometimes you need to lean on your village. That’s why we’ve turned to this platform in hopes of getting support for another chance at growing our family.
We’ve always dreamed of becoming parents — having a family is all we’ve ever wanted, and we’re praying for a big miracle. Our hearts ache for a baby to love, to hold, and to raise.
IVF isn’t just the treatment itself—it’s the cost of medication, time off work, travel, fuel, parking, and more. It’s emotionally draining enough without the added pressure of financial stress.
We know times are tough for many, and we’d never expect anything — but if you’re in a position to donate, even just a small amount, it would mean the absolute world to us. And if you can’t donate, a share or kind word would be just as appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story, for your support, and for standing beside us as we continue hoping for our miracle.
With love and gratitude,
Courtney & Kevin
