Please help Matthew

Hi my name is Gabi House and I’m the sister inlaw of Matthew House. I’m reaching out to ask people if they are in anyway able to donate to help Matthew with ongoing medical costs and financial strain. Matthew was diagnosed with a rare Hereditary gene called CDH1 Mutation. CDH1 can lead to Diffuse Gastric Cancer increasing the high risk of developing stomach cancer and for women lobular breast cancer as well. Matthew had some tests come back abnormal that required him to then have his stomach removed in early 2023. Unfortunately Matthew never made a full recovery as to be expected and has had many complications. Since then he has needed a nasal feeding tube permanently in as he is unable to eat because of the complications and at one point had lost in excess of 30kg from his initial weight. Matthew has not been able to work since early 2023 and this has had a huge financial impact for him and his family. Finally there is a surgeon in Melbourne that is attempting surgery to try fix Matthew’s problems and he has just been to Melbourne for some intensive tests. He is scheduled to go back to Melbourne later this month to undergo a massive surgery which this will again put more financial strain on him and his family. Matthew has a long road ahead of him.
