Hello, my name is Bridget Walker -a proud Xenia native, small business owner of 19 years, and founder of The O'Neal Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving history and uplifting community.
In 2022, I purchased the historic Carnegie Library building in Xenia, Ohio, a local treasure that has stood for over a century. Once a vibrant center for learning and community life, the building has been mostly vacant for decades and is now in critical need of repairs. But I see its potential for so much more.
My dream is to restore this beautiful space into a cultural and culinary center that brings people together -a place where the community can:
-Enjoy locally made food in a upscale restaurant and event space
-Attend cooking classes, health lectures, and art programs
-Celebrate special moments in a stunning historic venue
But I can not do this alone. The building desperately needs a new roof, windows, updated plumbing, and electrical work before we can open the doors to the public. That's why I'm asking for your help. Every dollar you give moves us closer to reclaiming this historic gem and turning it into a space where community, culture, and creativity thrive.
Your support will not only help restore a landmark, it will help build a brighter future, and bring jobs to our neighborhood for generations to come.
Thank you for being a part of this journey.
With Gratitude,
Bridget Walker
