Help Xena Walk Again! Emergency Surgery Needed!
Donation protected
This is Xena; Our 4 year old frenchie who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 IVDD (intervertebral disc disease). This means that she has lost her ability to move her hind legs and is going paralyzed. She has been my world since day one and my heart is breaking every second seeing her in so much pain. She’s the most happy, loving, perfect dog anyone could ask for. I like to call her my little warrior princess.

One morning she woke and she refused to eat and you could tell she just didn’t feel well. As the day moved on her symptoms became worse; shaking, panting, and then all of a sudden she couldn’t move her back legs. This all happened within a matter of hours. We rushed her to the ER and they then diagnosed her with IVDD. They told us if we didn’t act fast to get her into surgery that her symptoms would worsen and that she would permanently be paralyzed. She possibly would have to be put down. I refuse to let that happen. We are doing everything we can and want to get her the best possible treatment but I just cannot afford it. They told me the surgery averages around $10,000. So as of right now they sent us home for pain management and a strict bed rest treatment. It’s scary to know that we can possibly lose her. Please help our warrior princess Anything would help and much appreciated and forever grateful. Thank you so so so much for even taking the time to read this. Even if you can’t donate, please share this with your friends and family.
