Hello, fellow PUG LOVERS! We are asking for some help for my friend Scott's Pug, Xena. Scott came home the other day to find an otherwise young and completely healthy Xena fully paralyzed from her mid-section down! She was her normal, happy self in the morning when he left for work, but all it takes is for a dog to hop off the couch and land the wrong way, and these types of injuries can easily occur.
The cost for Xena's surgery is around $10,000, and unfortunately, without your help, Scott is unable to fully cover the cost of the surgery himself. Xena is just 2 and a half years old, and she is a very happy Pug, and I know that she is Scott's whole world. She is very young and healthy and I know it is not her time right now.
We have full faith that Xena could make a great recovery with your help. NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL! We appreciate anything that any of you kind, pug loving souls could contribute.
The downpayment cost to begin the process is $1000! We are hoping to reach at least $1000 in the next day or so, in order for Scott to proceed with the surgery before it is too late. Unfortunately, time is of the essense, as Xena is unable to move the organs that allow her to pee or poo, so the vet says it is possible she will get backed up and her heart will stop if we wait too long.
