Meet Xena, my beloved 17-year-old princess with a grumpy demeanor that always brings a smile to my face. It breaks my heart to share that we’ve recently been told she may have cancer. Right now, she's battling an upper respiratory infection, and it’s been tough to see her like this. I wasn’t able to get a printed estimate for her future medical expenses, but I know what lies ahead could be significant.

To help her recover from the respiratory issues, she may need a blood transfusion due to her low red blood cell count. This procedure has been recommended, but sadly, we’ve run out of funds. The estimates for the transfusion range between $2,000 and $4,000, which feels overwhelming.

On top of that, there’s an urgent need to have a mass removed and biopsied to determine if it’s cancerous. An X-ray is also necessary to check for any internal masses, and that alone will be about $200. We’re scheduled for a follow-up in a couple of weeks, which will require another $225 for essential blood work.

I know times are tough for everyone, but any support you can provide during this challenging time would mean so much to me and Xena.
