Help for medical costs

Hi my name is Erin Cerqueira, as some of you may know my mom (Colleen Shaughnessy) was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer back in July of 2021. Over the course of July - October she received chemo and immunotherapy. End of October, she was rescanned and was told her cancer was stable and at that time she had insurance that was ending and needed to find new insurance quickly to cover the costs of the immunotherapy going forward. She found insurance quickly but is paying over $1,000 a month for it. She is currently in the midst of fighting with her new insurance company as they aren’t covering her immunotherapy and radiation. She has missed out on 2 appointments so far and will be missing out on her radiation treatments. We are working to get her insurance resolved but as if this time wasn’t stressful enough the added burden of paying monthly for this insurance while on a very limited fixed income is just adding more stress then she needs. She’s currently in a lot of pain and the insurance is just at a stand still.

I am asking if you could please help, anything helps. We greatly appreciate it.
