Hi my name is Carlos. I'm a single dad, veteran, and musician living in downtown Phoenix. I work nights at a bar and often keep late hours when I'm not with my daughter last night (7-23-2022) being no exception. When I got home I discovered that my apartment was ransacked and pretty much everything I've acquired over the last ten or so years was stolen. Recording equipment, laptop, guitars, dj equipment, vintage film cameras, luggage, TVs, shoes, even things that belong to my daughter... They even let my cat of 8 years out, luckily she returned shortly after I noticed she was gone.... This is an extreme violation and I'm completely devasted. A lot of these things would take me years to replace given my current economic situation. I'm not sure where to go with all this. Typically thefts are rarely settled by the police and the sheer amount of things stolen from me would take a dedicated task force to track down... Anything would help at this point.
