To all who love the Cockman family,

I’m starting a GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses and support Tonya as she begins life without her beloved partner.

Thomas and Tonya have been a beacon in the recovery family for many, many years. They’ve opened their home and their hearts to so many of us in the rooms of recovery. No matter how big or small the request, they gave freely—offering love, support, and guidance without hesitation. They’ve poured themselves into this community in countless ways.

Tonya spent years being a “Hairapist” to many of us, listening with compassion and care while behind the chair. And more often than not, Thomas would be right there in the salon, dropping wisdom and encouragement to everyone around him.

When Thomas walked into a meeting, you knew it. He was heard, he was respected, and he was trusted with people’s lives. His presence was powerful, and his impact is everlasting.

We don’t kick our own when they’re down. I know a lot of people are concerned about Tonya, she is safe and being taken care of. 

That’s also why I’ll be the only one with access to the GoFundMe page—so you can feel confident that every donation will go exactly where it’s meant to.

Let’s come together to honor Thomas’s legacy and support Tonya the way they’ve supported so many of us for so long.
