The Desantis Family Fund

Looking for people to come together and please consider helping the Desantis Family. They are going through a very tough time right now, and could use some help. John ended up getting sick with Severe Eosinophilic Pneumonia in February. He has been out of work since February when it started, and has not gotten paid since the end of March.  John was recovering and preparing to go back to work at the Lawrence Police Department, and all of a sudden, things went downhill again fast in the beginning of June,  and he was re-admitted into St. Elizabeth's Hospital,  where he has been ever since in ICU,  and is still in there in Critical condition in ICU.  He has a long road ahead of him. He has had numerous tests, and lung biopsies which have came back negative, so the Doctor's are still trying to find out what exactly is going on as they are not sure.   When they do, they can at least upgrade him and then transfer him to  a long term care "acute" rebab facility, which will also be another long road.  Amy, (John's wife) is also out of work right now as she has been back and forth to St. Elizabeth's to be with John every day, then home to her 4 boys,  Christian 23, Nick 17, Domenic  15 and Anthony 14.   So being on a very limitied income, and tending to her home, the boys, food,  necessities and driving back and forth to Brighton every day is becoming very expensive.  Any amount will help,  big or small.
