Yesterday, June 6th, my family and I lost our home. We were getting our roof fixed when a storm hit, causing terrible damages. Our roof collapsed, ruining the carpets and furniture, and our electricity went out. The house is currently uninhabitable.

The cost of repairs are way too expensive for our family. My mom is the main provider since my dad is unable to work due to his disability. I work part-time to help my mom with bills but it is not enough.

The people we hired were from our neighborhood. We could not afford anyone else. They only meant to lend a hand, but they have no insurance for this incident so this cost is going to fall back on us.
