Many of us know Barbara as our wonderful, compassionate, hardworking, friend and co-worker, having worked at Good Sam for 12 years now as a CNA.

She was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and is embarking on a journey that involves chemo and possibly surgery ahead. Currently, this means taking chemo daily, which will limit her ability to return to work. We all know the financial cost that is associated with a medical diagnosis like this, not to mention that all of life's expenses continue on; there is still a mortgage to pay, kids to support and bills to cover.
