I am a friend of Ryan Muller; a personable, vibrant, well-spoken 16 year-old who is now fighting for his life. Last fall Ryan wore the number 13 proud as he played soccer for Olentangy Orange, he earned good grades and got his driver’s license. During the last one-on-one conversation Ryan and I had, we talked about college and soccer scholarships. It was a very exciting time in his life.
Then Leukemia happened. In mid-December Ryan was diagnosed with T-ALL. He has been in and out of the hospital, through intense treatment and numerous surgeries. I’ve learned Ryan’s initial treatment plan is predicted to be at least 2.5 years long. That puts him into college before he is able to return to school.
With all the Muller family has on their plate, I don’t want the cost of medical treatment, deductibles, co-pays and on-line courses to be a concern. I appreciate your consideration.
Sincerely,
Wendi Finn
