On June 17 around 11 pm the lives of many were changed forever by a single vehicle accident. This has impacted the entire community and many are still in shock. 2 of the teens were pronounced deceased at the scene including his life long best friend Kevin. Tyler, a son, a cousin, a grandson, a brother, a friend, a teammate and nephew of many including myself was the teen in that vehicle that today is fighting for his life as we speak. He's suffered many injuries as the vehicle rolled several times. The full impact of the accident isn't know yet as Tyler hasn't been stable enough to run full testing. While he's still in critical condition, he's still here with us and he's fighting every minute in the battle for his life. Doctors hope to be able to transport Tyler to sick kids to further his recovery.
Tyler is 17. Tyler isn't your typical teenager. He's an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, hunter, athlete and craftsman. He's a special young man that always has time for family, especially his cousins. He has become a role model, someone that is looked up too, respected and admired.
We love Tyler and this tragedy has impacted his entire family. Tyler's strength, spirit and determination gives our family hope.
The timeline for Tyler is unclear, recovery prognosis unknown and where things are going next, we don't know. I do know that his family will be there at his side every step of the way. This campaign is to help raise money to support the family though this tragedy to ensure that financial needs are covered to support the care and recovery of Tyler and his family never come to interfere with that support. No one knows how many weeks or months this may take so your support means the world to our family.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and if you can please support by donating to the campaign, sharing this campaign on social media and spreading the word everyday until Tyler is in recovery. Use the hashtag #unitedfortyler to show your support on all social media platforms and we can show Tyler how much he means to all of us.
There is a saying in Tibetan, 'Tragedy should be utilized as a source of strength.'
No matter what sort of difficulties, how painful experience is, if we lose our hope, that's our real disaster.
Thank You for your support.
