There are souls who reflect more life, light, and more energy than many do in a lifetime. This has been the most challenging time in our lives, the loss of Steve Cruz. A husband, son, father, grandfather, and friend are just a few titles he holds. A loving man, genuine & caring, one who loved his family deeply and always placed them above anything else. Anyone would agree that Steve would have given you the shirt off his back, and his very last dime, anything to help someone and he would do it without hesitation. His willingness to sit and chat, listen and laugh, you knew that you would find a forever friend with Steve.

 

His family was so important to him. He often spoke about his kids and granddaughter, always talking about their greatest accomplishments and how proud he and Letty are of them. He worked at Ferguson Waterworks for 22 years and was in the industry for over 40! Anyone that has crossed paths with Steve knows the positive impact he has had.

 

Steve was such a presence in all our lives and the thought of him no longer with us is heartbreaking. As Steve would have done whatever it took to take care of any of us, lets all gather and do what we can for the Cruz family. Because we know that Steve wouldn’t want the attention, but he would be forever grateful to know that with him being gone, his family is still being taken care of and that alone would bring him peace.
