Tabitha's Mission

My name is Barbara Henriques and I am a Registered  Nurse. For many years I have been troubled by the increase in the death rate in residents of rural communities from the complications of high blood pressue and diabetes. Many people living in rural communities especially in the Caribbean do not visit the doctor until they are very sick, many do not have easy access to healthcare and many cannot afford to pay for medicine to treat their illness.  In 2015 I started an organization called Tabitha's Mission whose purpose is to combat Hypertension and Diabetes in people living in rural areas in the Caribbean and North America. We do this by education and providing financial help for medical and prescription treatment.
