Terry Fortson's Cancer Fund

Terry went in to have a check up because he was tired and having trouble breathing. He was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. He coded 3 times the first 2 days we were there. They rushed him to surgery and pu a drain tube into his pericardial sack. They drained 600ml of blood from around his heart. No more problems with coding. Where did the blood come from? They analyzed it and it came back with cancer cells. It is stage 4 because it is in his right lung, around the lymph nodes around his esophagus ( he has a lot of trouble swallowing) and in the paracardial sack around his heart. They have all kinds of medical names for all this. We were just told on 2/21/17. We went from curable pneumonia to non-curable stage 4 cancer. Shock doesn't even describe it. He was the wage earner. I make enough to pay for the insurance but I didn't get short or long term disability because the insurance costs me $300.00 dollars each pay day. We can't afford the special food for him or his medications or gas to get him back and forth or utilities. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I hope I've set this up right. The koala picture is because I don't have a good picture of Terry and if I put one up of him now I won't stop crying. The son of friends has called him Terr Bear since he was little and the nick name still has the ability to make him smile while there is very little right now that does. We also need help with our house. We had renters in it and it's not in the greatest of shape. They tore up the plumbing fixtures, flooring, the roof leaks, etc. I want to bring him home from the hospital to a place he can be comfortable. They are recommending immuno therapy or chemo. They haven't started yet because he's not strong enough. I'm trying to stay strong for him but it's so hard. I go between the hospital, work and the house. I don't remember the last time I got more than 6 hours sleep. I still feel guilty leaving him alone to come to work or to try and work at the house. We are on the brink of losing utilities because I used what little money we had to get our stuff out of storage. Couldn't pay that. Please help if you can. Prayers also greatly appreciated.
