It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Lavon Parham Casey. Last Sunday, while traveling out of state from Indiana to Alabama to attend a relative’s funeral, she was in a car collision. Lavon remained in critical condition for one week and unfortunately passed away due to the injuries sustained during the collision. Lavon’s husband Larry and daughter, Larria (Rere)/Michael have been by her side in Alabama. As you can imagine Larry, who is on a fixed income, has and continues to spend a considerable amount of money on hotels, overnight accommodations, food, and transportation back and forth from Indiana to Alabama where his wife was in the hospital. He remained faithful by his wife’s side while his children traveled back home to handle home affairs. Life without Lavon will be difficult for Larry. However, we are asking those who would like to help with additional expenses Larry will incur in Alabama to donate. Donations will be used towards his food, lodging, travel and to offset funeral expenses after he returns to Indiana to bury his wife.
